ARC TO THE RESCUE

“If you touch or harm an American child, we will find you…, and there is absolutely no place you can hide.” This is the message to child traffickers given by ARC, the Association for the Recovery of Children.

Rescue

ARC is comprised of former intelligence officers, military special operators, and law enforcement, a team that rescues missing and abducted American children held in the United States or overseas. Each year, over 400,000 American children go missing in the US. With over 31 years of experience, ARC is able to network with 150 frontline operatives across the globe and have achieved a 100% success rate in their missions: “We don’t come home without the child.”

Once resources of local, state, federal, and international intervention have been exhausted, ARC, on behalf of a custodial parent, goes and rescues the child or children. These children have been abducted, lured, recruited, have run away, or have been sold by a family member.

Founders

Bazzel Baz, a former CIA intelligence officer, founder and president of ARC, started ARC in 1993. Known as the “patron saint of missing kids,” he heads up every rescue mission. He’s an author, film producer, motivational speaker, and globally known for his exemplary skillset. Currently, he contracts as a “life guarantor” for those going to dangerous environments.

Tina Baz is ARC’s Human Trafficking Program Director and Legislative Liaison. She specializes in child sex trafficking prevention, in addition to locating and assisting victims in various ways. Having a wealth of practical insight into the trauma, needs, and vulnerabilities of victims, Tina has led emergency response programs that have rescued and provided services for sex trafficking victims.

The organization has a team of talented and experienced members assisting them in their mission. In addition to their board of directors, ARC’s directorate of operations conducts research, collects intelligence, and carries out operations with the assistance of a Strike Force Recovery Team.

Funding

ARC is a 501(c)(3) and uses donations that go directly to fund rescue missions, often extracting children from dangerous regions where other organizations will not go. Typically an operation takes no longer than 10 days to recover a child. They provide recovery at no cost to the parent or custodian of the child. A big part of the expense is for travel and hotel costs. Donated airline miles and hotel points would increase their ability to rescue more children. Since it’s urgent that the team get to the child as quickly as possible in order to extract them, it would be helpful if airlines could give them priority flights instead of having to fly standby or be waitlisted. This would be a game changer.

Training

In addition to rescues, ARC trains everyday citizens to fight trafficking. Several times a year, a weeklong intensive equips you to combat sex trafficking through prevention, intervention, rescue, advocacy, and direct services to survivors. Days 1 & 2 explain the criminal enterprise and the fight against sex trafficking. Days 3 & 4 explain demand and victimology, while day 5 is all about conducting a successful rescue mission. On day 6 you conduct a practical exercise, allowing you to put into practice what you have just learned.

This comprehensive and thorough training is perhaps the most effective  available. Here is some evidence of its success.

“At least 42 sex trafficking victims have already been rescued by alumni of our equipping courses.”

In addition, more than nine, new, anti-child-trafficking organizations or local task forces have launched, or are in process of launching from alumni of ARC courses.

Testimonials

…In my opinion, ARC’s FIGHT Child Sex Trafficking Comprehensive Training Course is the gold standard. Anyone who is serious about saving the lives of trafficked children should be serious about taking this course.

Life-changing experience. My eyes were opened to a world I didn’t know existed. ARC equipped me to take action, connect with others, and save the life of a child.

Prayer

We celebrate the more than 35 exploited American children who were found and rescued by ARC rescue operations in 2024. Their willingness to take on high-risk cases, go into high-threat areas, and successfully extricate children speaks to the standard of excellence displayed in the field. Help ARC to thrive and receive every provision as they do your will, Father.

Give them divine connections, strengthen their unity in all areas of the organization. Continue to lead and guide them to the missing children. Shine your light and uncloak the darkness. Deliver the kids out of this evil. Thank you for those recovered and returned to their families or a safe harbor.

Thank you for ARC’s 100% success rate. We declare protection over each mission. Provide hassle-free plane tickets and hotels as needed. Grant the children peace throughout their rescue and bring all home safe and sound. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
