Do my prayers really make a difference? Maybe you’ve asked yourself this question. I know I have, many times. If Jesus spent half the night praying, taught on prayer, and wrestled in prayer before his crucifixion, it must be a gem. A good Father listens to his son or daughter. We were made for communion and yes, He listens.

Jesus said in John 15:7 “But if you live in life union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done.” There is nothing that God wants more than his children living in freedom and fullness of joy with him. He has called us to be his voice and pray what he places on our hearts. We act as a bridge, bringing the need to the Father who breaks the chains.

No matter how dark or impossible the situation, it can be turned as we agree with Jesus. On earth he fed the five thousand, set the demoniac free, healed all kinds of sicknesses, and raised the dead. He loves impossible situations. Trafficking is no different, and we can be assured that children are a priority to Jesus. As a demonstration of faith, he set a little one in his midst. He wants their freedom even more than we do.
